A Daytime Glam Eye Look: Neutral Shimmer

Hey there, beauties!

Today, we’re going ham on the glam (teehee) with this shimmery daytime eye look that is simple and fierce.  Who doesn’t love a little winged eyeliner and glittery eyeshadow every once in a while?  I think that this look is very appropriate for fall since it is made up of some gorgeous bronze shades, so I love wearing it during this season when my eyes need a little pop.  This look is really easy to achieve and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

First, I used my NYX Jumbo Pencil in the shade Iced Mocha to prep my eyes.  I blended the edges slightly to smooth out any harsh lines.

Next, I patted Urban Decay’s Space Cowboy all over my lid with a damp brush.  This eyeshadow is the meaning of glitter.  Using a damp brush helps to intensify the pigmentation of the eyeshadow and reduce fallout.

Afterward, I used the shades Naked and Buck from the Naked Palette and a fluffy brush to blend the previous shades into the crease.

To deepen up the look a little more, I took the shades Whiskey and Password from the Naked Smoky palette and focused it on the crease and a bit of the outer V of my eye.

I then applied my L’oreal Liquid Liner and Ardell 117 Natural lashes along with using a mixture Urban Decay’s Thirteen and High from the Smoky Palette to highlight my brow bone and inner corners.

And that, ladies and gents, is the finished look.  I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and that it was helpful to you!  I think that while this look is on the bolder side of things, it is still totally wearable for any kind of daytime event and isn’t overdone. Thanks for reading!

My Lash Stash | 5 Mascaras That Never Let Me Down

Hi there, beauties!

Mascara… One of the most important beauty items in existence, coming second only to brow pencils and their amazing “fleek” powers.  I love long, voluminous lashes and I feel naked when I don’t have mascara on.  Experimenting and trying out new formulas is one of my favorite things to do.  Anything that promises body and length -I’m all for it.

Over the years, I’ve had many hits and misses when it comes to mascara.  I’m pretty picky about the quality of black gel that coats my lashes and, most of the time, they tend to smudge on me.  My lashes like to lose their curl over the day, so I need mascaras that really keep those babies in place.  I’m pretty happy with my trusty stash of mascaras at the moment and I thought I would share them with you!

The Best Mascara The Best Mascara

  • Covergirl Professional Start Waterproof Mascara – This mascara has the power to hold my lashes in place all day!  The brush separates them perfectly and gives me tons of length and volume.  It definitely lives up to its title of being waterproof, but is not such a pain to remove as Maybelline’s Rocket mascara, which is like dried cement and refuses to budge.  Covergirl’s on the other hand is a happy medium -it never smudges, but also is removable without having to rip all of my lashes out. Big thumbs up for this one!covergirl waterproof mascara
  • Urban Decay Perversion Mascara – I absolutely LOVE the volume and length of this mascara.  However, when the tube is new, beware of how wet the formula is… it can get everywhere if you aren’t careful.  The first time I tested this out and applied it to my lashes, I happened to sneeze.  It was not pretty.  Eventually, I discovered that adding a light coat of waterproof mascara over top of Perversion makes it stay perfectly in place all day!  Now, Perversion with a coat of Covergirl’s Professional Start is my go-to lash combo.urban decay perversion mascara
  • Sephora Outrageous Curl Mascara –  HOLY MOTHER OF CURL, this mascara lives up to its name!  What I love most about it is the terrifying, but glorious brush.  It may look scary, but NOTHING separates lashes and coats them so easily in just one swipe.  This mascara is perfect if you don’t like to spend an hour building up coats of mascara in the morning just to make it slightly noticeable.  It never clumps or loses curl.  My lashes look long and voluminous and stay in place all day with this lovely product.sephora outrageous curl mascara
  • Sephora Full Action Mascara – This mascara is what I reach for on those natural lash days.  It coats my lashes very lightly and never clumps up.  This one’s great if your looking for something that is not super noticeable.  It never smudges and always holds the curl in my lashes.  sephora full action mascara
  • Lancôme Définicils Mascara – This mascara is a rather recent one to my stash and I am so glad to own it!  I won it in a giveaway -Thank you, Savannah!- and it is now my current favorite!  It is incredible at defining my lashes and giving them tons of length.  It holds curl and stays in place all day.  The brush is perfect since I can tend to be a bit clumsy and blob mascara all over my eyelids when the brushes are bigger. *whoops*lancome definicils mascara

Beauty When You’re Tired

Hi there, fellow people of the internet!

The school year is officially back into the full swing of things… we all know what that means; Many, many exhausted days of sleep deprivation and eye bags.  Even though we may feel like zombies on the inside, the 21st century has provided us with the perfect tools to mask our dull, tired faces, tricking our fellow humans into thinking we always get our full 8 hours of sleep, because we have our lives together.

When I don’t get enough sleep, my face definitely shows it.  I get the typical red eyes, dark circles, and lifeless skin.  Since I am often feeling very zombie-like, I put these products to use almost everyday to brighten up my appearance.  I hope that they will be helpful to you as well!

IMG_7490

  1. Urban Decay Vitamin Infused Complexion Prep Spray – This spray is perfect when my skin needs a boost!  It feel so refreshing to apply in the morning and also helps to reduce any redness or irritation from any acne I may have.  I apply this before my moisturizer on those days where my skin needs a little extra help.
    IMG_7442
  2. Estee Lauder DayWear Lotion –  When I’m feeling really tired, my skin needs a nice lotion to bring some life back into it.  This cream is perfect for that job!  It smells like cucumber perfection and leaves my skin feeling very refreshed.  I highly recommend it!  IMG_7470
  3. Pixi Nude Combo Eye Pencil – On those days where I am running on 2 hours of sleep and 2 gallons of coffee, my eyes always show it.  To counteract the redness, I use my Pixi eyeliner along my waterline.  I typically use the matte side since it is so pigmented and brightens up my eyes like magic.  I also often use the shimmery side on my inner corners.IMG_7451
  4. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop – This highlighter is one of my all-time favorites.  It is the perfect peachy shade that goes well with every skin tone.  When my skin is dull, putting a highlighter on the high points of my face (my cheek bones, tip of my nose, and cupid’s bow) makes all the difference in brightening up my face.  I look 10 x more awake after applying highlighter.  I also use it often as an eyeshadow -it’s the perfect inner corner and brow bone highlight shade!IMG_7456 IMG_7438 (1)
  5. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – Y’all know how much I love this concealer.  I can’t go a day without using it!  It gives amazing coverage and never creases.  It dramatically brightens up my dark circles and makes me look alive again!  This product is definitely a must have and very worth the $29.

Products, Tips & Tricks to Make Your Makeup Last All Day

Hello, beauties!

I don’t know about you, but I always have struggled with my makeup wearing off through the course of the day.  I’m not exactly sure where it all goes… I guess it will always be a mystery.  However, a few discoveries have greatly improved the lasting power of my makeup and I thought I would share them with you along with a few tips to make your makeup last all day!

Long-Lasting Makeup

1. Prime!

I did not used to understand how important this step was.  Primer makes the perfect base for foundation to be applied on.  Finding a primer that counteracts any issues you have with your skin will help your foundation look its best and last much longer.  Using a primer puts a barrier between my foundation and my skin, which helps prevent breakouts.  I’ve noticed that when I don’t use it, I have more pimples since foundation is clogging my pores.

My favorite primer at the moment is The Body Shop’s InstaBlur.  IT’S AMAZING.  This primer controls the oil in my T-zone and blurs all of my pores!  Also, if you have trouble with your eyeshadow staying put, I recommend trying an eye primer.  For this job, I love MICA Beauty’s Eye Primer.  This primer is absolutely amazing at locking my eyeshadow on all day and making it look more pigmented.  A cult classic that I also love is Urban Decay’s Primer Potion!

The Body Shop Instablur MICA Eye Primer Urban Decay Primer

2.  Powder that T-zone!

Applying powder over your liquid foundation will set it in place so that it will not slip and slide.  If you have extremely dry skin, this step isn’t super important, but for all other skin types, I recommend at least applying a bit of powder to the T-zone area. I love BareMineral’s Mineral Veil since it does not make my makeup look cake-y.  It also comes in illuminating, hydrating, and tinted formulas, which I think is amazing!  BareMinerals Mineral Veil

3. Setting Spray!

This step isn’t completely necessary, but it is SO helpful in increasing the lasting power of makeup. If your makeup is looking cake-y, a spritz of this will work wonders in setting your foundation and powder to a smooth, flawless, and more natural finish.  A really helpful tip is to apply setting spray in between applying primer and foundation or right before powdering.  You can even apply this between every step for extremely long-lasting makeup!

I am loving Makeup Forever Mist & Fix Setting Spray at the moment.  I also highly recommend Urban Decay’s setting sprays!  I always buy the mini bottles at the check stand of Sephora since they are much cheaper and last forever!

If you have oilier skin, I’ve done a post completely dedicated to long-lasting makeup products that combat oil!

A Collaboration with Beauty Bunny! | My Top 5 Fall Makeup Products

Hello, lovelies!

Today, I am collaborating with Savannah from Beauty Bunny to show you our top 5 fall makeup products!  Savannah’s blog is amazing, so you definitely need to check it out and see all of her fall favorites as well!  I am super excited to show you the makeup I’ve been loving for my favorite time of year, so let’s get right to it!

Fall Makeup

  1.  ModelCo Cosmetics Shadow Sticks in the shades Costa Rica, St. Barts, Portofino, and Purple Haze.  I am counting these as one favorite instead of four since they came in a kit together in my Love Me Beauty bag.  These eyeshadows are SO pigmented, easy to use, and blend super smoothly.  They don’t crease like most cream shadows tend to over the day.  I don’t even need primer under these!  They dry/set on your eyelids after a few minutes and won’t ever budge.  I’m pretty sure these things are waterproof, because the swatches were extremely difficult to wash off of my hand! ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow   ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow   ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow
  2. Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Solow

Fall is all about those matte lipsticks, so I have been enjoying Colourpops Ultra Matte Lip in Solow.  It’s a natural shade that goes with any makeup look!  It’s extremely easy to apply and I’m in love with it.  I’ve done a post further in depth on these liquid lipsticks since I was so intrigues by all the buzz about Colourpop and had to give them a go myself! colourpop liquid lipstickcolourpop liquid lipstick

3.  Clinique Blush in Sunset Glow

This blush is perfect for any season and looks great with any makeup look.  I love the slight shimmer it has to it.  It is a beautiful mauve color that actually has a bit of a coral tint to it in person.  It’s a difficult shade for me to describe, but I think it’s gorgeous and will definitely be wearing it a lot this fall (and all year round;).

4.  M.A.C. Eyeshadow in Amber Lights

To me, fall means warm, shimmery eyeshadow.  This is just that!  I love this shade in any season, but during the fall I really go ham on it and wear it almost every day.  It may look intimidating, but upon application, I think it seems a little more on the bronze side than an overpowering orange color.  I highly recommend it and think it’s well worth the investment!  I’ve even done a post on my go-to fall eyeshadow look primarily using this shadow, because I am in love with it!

5.  Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliner in Bourbon

Normally, I am not a huge fan of bold eyeliner for my eyes, so I like to go for more natural looking colors such as brown.  I am in love with the formula of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliners, since they are super creamy and easy to apply, but also set in place after a few minuets and never smudge on me.  This eyeliner is in the shade Bourbon, which has a slight gold shimmer to it.  The formula of this eyeliner is so creamy that I even like to use it as eyeshadow and blend it al over my eyelid.  I wear this pretty much every day that I put on makeup during the fall!

Amber Lights | Warm Fall Eyeshadow

Hello, lovelies!

I don’t know about you, but during the fall, I LOVE wearing warm, sparkly shadows to embrace the season.  Amber Lights from MAC is a beautiful shade that does just that!  Since I love it so much, I have based this fall-inspired eye look around it!  This eyeshadow really brings out blue eyes, but also looks amazing on any eye color.  I highly recommend picking it up if you’ve been on the lookout for an autumn eyeshadow!  Let’s get into the tutorial!

Eyeshadow Tutorial

  1.  I applied Makeup Geek’s Peach Smoothie and Barcelona Beach to the crease of my eye.  This doesn’t have to be exact; I like to blend these shades out a little through the lid with a big, fluffy blending brush.  This will be the transition shade and make other shades easier to blend.

2.    Time for the star of the show –Amber Lights from MAC.  I applied this shade all over the lid.  I really packed it on so that it was very opaque and sparkly!

3.    I then blended Makeup Geek’s Cocoa Bear through the crease for a warm, cranberry look.

4.    To make the eye a little smokier, I blended Cocoa Bear along the outer edge of the lower lash line.

5.    Next, I blended Amber Lights in the middle of the lower lash line.

6.    I then highlighted my brow bone and inner corner with Urban Decay’s Thirteen.

7.    To give my eye more definition, I applied Urban Decay’s Bourbon Eyeliner to the lash line and smudged it out.

8.    Lastly, I applied Sephora’s Outrageous Curl Mascara with Ardell 120 Lashes.

Voila!  This look is super quick and easy to do!  It’s perfect for this season and made me feel really festive and excited for fall!

Concealer Showdown | Nars Creamy Radiant vs. Urban Decay Naked Skin

Hello, lovelies!

If you watch beauty videos on YouTube or read any blogs about makeup, chances are you’ve seen many, many people talk about NARS Creamy Radiant and Urban Decay Naked Skin concealers.  I know I have!  So much so, that I (obviously) had to go out and buy them myself.  If you haven’t heard of these concealers yet, it’s you’re lucky day, because this post is all about ’em. 🙂  Both the Creamy Radiant and Naked Skin concealers are raved about constantly -and for good reason!  But which is better?  Since I have used up an entire tube of each product, I thoroughly know how they work for me, so I am going to review and compare them both!  May the best concealer win!

IMG_6349IMG_6315 (1)

NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer

IMG_6334 (1)IMG_6338 (1) IMG_6544 (1)

Price: $29

Formula: I love the formula of this concealer!  It is creamy and moisturizing (as the name would suggest).  It blends out smoothly and looks very natural.

Coverage:  I would definitely say this concealer has full coverage!  It can cover the darkest of under eye circles and makes blemishes completely disappear.

Lasting Power:  This concealer is very long-wearing.  It lasts all day -even in hot weather!

Creasing: As you may see in the picture, it does slightly crease since the formula is more moisturizing.  I don’t find that it is noticeable at all from afar, but with such an up-close picture, you can see a few lines appearing.  This picture was taken about 30 minutes after application, but I find that it doesn’t ever crease much farther than it has in this photo. Overall, I’d say it does a good job of staying in place!

Packaging:  NARS always has such chic packaging for there products and this one is no different.  I love how it is square!  It never leaks any product, so it does its job! 🙂

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

IMG_6330 IMG_6329 (2) IMG_6537

Price: $28

Formula:  I love this formula and think it is moisturizing, much like the last concealer.  It blends even more smoothly than NARS’ creamy radiant.

Coverage: I would say that this concealer is medium to full coverage.  It looks very natural and covers dark circles and acne pretty well.

Lasting Power:  Urban Decay’s concealer lasts a long while, as did NARS’.  I find that it does not slip and slide or rub off of my face very easily.

Creasing: This concealer almost never creases on me, which I love!  It is very smooth-looking and never settles into any fine lines around my eye area.

Packaging: I love the bottle that this comes in and think it looks very high quality.  My favorite part is the applicator!  It is super bendy and makes concealer really easy to apply!

THE COMPARISON

Price: Urban Decay wins, coming in just $1 under NARS.  The prices pretty much tie.

Formula:  It’s a tie!  They each are creamy and blend smoothly, looking super natural on the skin!

Coverage:  NARS definitely wins on this one.  I thought that they were equal until I used a different concealer under each eye to really examine the differences.  NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer does a much better job than Urban Decay in covering both acne and under eyes.  It’s pretty amazing just how much this concealer can hide!

Lasting Power: I find that NARS’ concealer lasts slightly longer than Urban Decay, although both do an amazing job.  Urban Decay’s seems so wipe off a bit easier and disappear more throughout the day.

Creasing:  At first, NARS’ creamy concealer creases slightly more than Urban Decay’s, although after a few hours have gone by, I think that they are a pretty close tie.

Packaging:  Each of these bottles are amazing.  I love the look of NARS, however the feel of Urban Decay’s is my favorite, especially since the applicator is so cool and different than most.

So, who won?  In my opinion, NARS Creamy Radiant concealer beats Urban Decay’s Naked Skin!  Although each concealers are amazing and almost equal, the coverage of NARS is phenomenal!  It lasts all day, blends easily, and does not look cake-y on the skin.

Would I recommend these concealers? DEFINITELY.  These concealers are amazing and no matter which you pick, you won’t be disappointed.  I have combination skin, so these concealers have been put to the test through my oily T-zone and dry patches.  I think that either concealer is a great option and both would work well for any skin type.  I have heard that some people with extremely oily skin do not love NARS creamy radiant concealer, in which case I would recommend Urban Decay’s instead.

Thank you so much for reading!  Have you tried these concealers?  What have your thoughts been?  Which won in your opinion?

Hanna

My Holy-Grail Foundation | Worth The Splurge

Hello, lovelies!!

I hope that all of you are having an amazing day!  Today, I wanted to share with you the product that I have used consistently for YEARS; Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Foundation.  I love this foundation to death and have never used another that performed nearly as well on my skin!  I don’t think this product gets raved about enough, so it definitely deserves this post! 🙂

IMG_4633 (1) IMG_4640 (1) IMG_4636 (1) IMG_4637 (1) IMG_4641 (1)

Price: This foundation costs $40, but it lasts me forever since the consistency is very liquid and a little goes a long way!

Packaging: The packaging is beautiful and I love that it has a pump!  The glass bottle feels sturdy and looks super sleek.

Shades:  Urban Decay has a very wide variety of shades.  The shades ending in .0 are warm and those ending in .5 are cool toned.

Coverage:  It gives medium to full coverage that is definitely build-able.  It has a satin finish that looks like natural skin.  It covers any hyper pigmentation on my face and I can blend it out to a more sheer finish on the places that I don’t want as much coverage.  It’s extremely light-weight.  I can’t even tell I have foundation on when I wear this!

Consistency:  This is a very liquidy foundation.  It’s extremely light-weight.  I can’t even tell I have foundation on when I wear this!  I only use about a pump of this on my entire face since it’s extremely easy to blend out and I like sheer to medium coverage.

Recommended Skin Type:  It does not cling to any flaky patches on my skin and it doesn’t get super oily throughout the day in my T-zone.  I think this foundation would work well on any skin type!

Naked Skin Foundation According to Urban Decay:

“A weightless and virtually invisible liquid foundation that creates a luminous, demi-matte finish.

This formula helps skin achieve a natural, illuminated and bright finish— like the beautiful skin you were born with. Naked Skin is formulated with light-diffusing spheres, transforming you to look professionally retouched.

The finish is matte, never flat, and luminous, but not shiny.

This makeup loads skin with a list of nourishing ingredients including: Matrixyl 3000 (a powerful anti-wrinkle peptide), protective and brightening Litchiderm, antioxidant Green Tea and Sodium Hyaluronate for optimal skin hydration and nutrient absorption.”

Naked Skin Foundation is Formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Synthetic Fragrances
– Phthalates
– GMOs
– Triclosan

Where You Can Buy It:  I purchase my Naked Skin Foundation from Sephora.  They make it very easy to return if the shade does not match or you aren’t pleased with the product.  I have exchanged shades several times! 🙂

Rating and Recommendation: Overall, I’d give this foundation a 10/10!  I would definitely recommend it to everyone!  It’s very customizable to the amount of coverage you would like and will have a nice finish on all skin types.  You need this in your life!  I don’t know how I’d live without it in mine!  I’ve used this foundation for about 3 years now and it has never failed me. 🙂

Thanks for reading!  What’s your favorite foundation?

The Perfect Base | Natural, Everyday Face Makeup

Hi there!

Today, I’ll be showing you all the products that are my recipe to a glowing complexion that looks very natural and beautiful!  These products are perfect for an everyday flawless face. 🙂

IMG_4601 (1) IMG_4541 (1)

Step 1: Prime!

IMG_4588

My ALL-TIME FAVORITE primer is Smashbox’s Photo Finish primer!  This stuff is absolutely amazing at smoothing out my skin and making my makeup last all day!  I don’t ever get oily when I use this primer and it also helps foundation not to cling to my dry, flaky patches!  I am using a sample size of this primer right now and I think it’s so adorable in such a miniature bottle. :3

Step 2: Conceal 🙂

IMG_4550 (1) IMG_4545 (1)

I am obsessed with Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer!  It blends so smoothly and gives me full, but natural-looking coverage!  Also, I really love the bendy applicator!  It is great for precisely applying the product and it just makes me so happy!  It’s the little things, people.

Step 3: Foundation

IMG_4552

For a natural-looking, lightweight product that still gives pretty good coverage, I have been loving Smashbox’s Camera Ready BB Cream.  This stuff is amazing!  It has SPF and fixes any discoloration while still making me feel like my skin can breath.  This is my favorite BB Cream that I’ve ever used since it doesn’t dry out my skin!

Step 4:  Brighten

IMG_4574 (1) IMG_4579 (1)  IMG_4576 (1)  IMG_4582 (1) IMG_4584 (1)

To get my #HighlightOnFleek, I’ve been obsessed with Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl liquid highlight.  This smells SO. GOOD.  I apply this to my cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and also a little on my chin and bridge of my nose.  This makes me have such a natural glow and is super easy to blend onto the skin!  I’ve been using this product to really embrace the “strobing” trend recently. It’s also great to apply before -or even mixed with- foundation to give your skin that “glowing from within” look.

Step 5: Set

IMG_4558 (1)IMG_4557 (1)

I love Revlon’s Translucent Finisher to lock my makeup in place all day!  It has a sort of shimmer to it, which terrified me at first, but I actually really, really love it!  It doesn’t look shimmery on the skin and it won’t make your makeup look cake-y!

Step 6: Add Color and Dimension

IMG_4568 (1) IMG_4565 (1) IMG_4564 (1)

Milani’s Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar is a beautiful powder that can be used as a bronzer, blush, or highlight!  I love to use this as a blush that gives a nice, bronze-y, pinkish glow to my face.  It looks SO natural, but really bring some color and life back into my skin!  I love how hassle-free this product is since I can skip highlighting or bronzing if I want and just go straight for this since it can do everything!  It’s great if you need a multi-use product!

IMG_4631 (1) IMG_4625 (1) IMG_4605 (1) IMG_4590 (1)

I hope that you enjoyed seeing all of the products I use to get natural, glowing face makeup!  What are your favorite base makeup products?

Naked Smoky Tutorial | Bold Eyes and Bold Lips

Hello, beautiful people:)

I am absolutely obsessed with Urban Decay’s new palette, Naked Smoky!  If you would like to see a full review and swatches of all of the shadows in this palette, I happen to have already done one -how convenient! You can check it out here. 😉

I decided to create a simple, smoky look with winged liner and a bright lip!  My camera loves to focus on my nose in pictures instead of on my eyes, so if anything is slightly out of focus, I apologize!

IMG_0409-1IMG_2122 (1)IMG_2130 (1)IMG_2133 (1)

I started off by applying the shade Combust all over the lid area and up to the brow bone with Sephora’s Crease Brush.  This shade similar to my skin tone so it will not be visible; it will just aid in helping the rest of the shadows blend more easily. Next, I focused Whiskey more on the crease of my eye with the same brush. I’m not fancy enough to switch out brushes for every shade. 🙂

IMG_0403-2Screen Shot 2015-07-18 at 5.02.42 PM

I then used the fluffier end of the brush that comes in the palette to apply dagger along the crease and outer v, deepening up the Whiskey shade that I added previously.

IMG_0404-1Screen Shot 2015-07-18 at 5.02.59 PM

Next, I used the shade Thirteen all over the inner to middle part of my eye lid, inner corner, and brow bone with my Sephora concealer brush to really make my eyes look brighter and make the dark colors pop more.

IMG_0396-2Screen Shot 2015-07-18 at 5.02.42 PM

I used the smaller end of the brush from the palette to smudge Black Market along my upper and lower lash lines.

IMG_0398-2Screen Shot 2015-07-18 at 5.02.59 PM

Lastly, I applied the shade High to my brow bones and inner corners with the same concealer brush for some nice sparkle.

IMG_0399-2Screen Shot 2015-07-18 at 5.03.20 PM

I lined my eyes using Ulta’s black gel liner and a Zoeva’s 317 wing liner brush along with L’oreal’s liquid liner to really flick out the edge and make it super sharp.  I applied Covergirl’s Waterproof Mascara to my upper and lower lashes to blend them with my falsies -Ardell’s Natural 105 Lashes.

IMG_0390-2 IMG_0391-2IMG_2920

IMG_0400-1

I paired this eye look with a bold red lip, because I was feeling extra fancy.  This eye look is so neutral that it would look amazing with any color, including purples and nudes!  I used NARS’ Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in the shade Cruella.  I love the formula and pigmentation of these Lip Pencils -they are matte, but still very creamy and not drying at all!

I hope this tutorial was helpful to you!  Thanks so much for reading!
