A Daytime Glam Eye Look: Neutral Shimmer

Hey there, beauties!

Today, we’re going ham on the glam (teehee) with this shimmery daytime eye look that is simple and fierce.  Who doesn’t love a little winged eyeliner and glittery eyeshadow every once in a while?  I think that this look is very appropriate for fall since it is made up of some gorgeous bronze shades, so I love wearing it during this season when my eyes need a little pop.  This look is really easy to achieve and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

Daytime Glam Eye Look

First, I used my NYX Jumbo Pencil in the shade Iced Mocha to prep my eyes.  I blended the edges slightly to smooth out any harsh lines.

Next, I patted Urban Decay’s Space Cowboy all over my lid with a damp brush.  This eyeshadow is the meaning of glitter.  Using a damp brush helps to intensify the pigmentation of the eyeshadow and reduce fallout.

Afterward, I used the shades Naked and Buck from the Naked Palette and a fluffy brush to blend the previous shades into the crease.

To deepen up the look a little more, I took the shades Whiskey and Password from the Naked Smoky palette and focused it on the crease and a bit of the outer V of my eye.

I then applied my L’oreal Liquid Liner and Ardell 117 Natural lashes along with using a mixture Urban Decay’s Thirteen and High from the Smoky Palette to highlight my brow bone and inner corners.

And that, ladies and gents, is the finished look.  I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and that it was helpful to you!  I think that while this look is on the bolder side of things, it is still totally wearable for any kind of daytime event and isn’t overdone. Thanks for reading!

Another MAC Dupe: Amber Lights Eyeshadow

Hey there, lovelies!

Do you remember your very first MAC eyeshadow?  Mine was Amber Lights.  Since it was my first purchase from MAC, it holds a special place in my heart!  It is the most beautiful copper shade for fall and I still love it.  MAC’s eyeshadows are gorgeous and really fun to collect, but sadly, they are expensive which means that I don’t splurge on them often.  Finding affordable dupes for high end makeup makes me very happy, so I have decided to continue this little series and share another another perfect twin for an expensive product!  If you love this copper shade as much as I do, I hope you’ll enjoy finding a cheaper version!

 Amber Lights Dupe

Top: MAC Amber Lights // Bottom: Milani Bella Copper

Milani’s Eyeshadow in the shade Bella Copper is the perfect match for Amber lights.  It is slightly darker and just a tad more sparkly, but it is hardly noticeable when on the eyes. Milani’s dupe costs $4.49, while MAC’s eyeshadow comes in at $16. I like each of these eyeshadows equally and think they look almost identical.  Neither of them have much fallout, although I can tell that MAC’s is just a bit higher in quality.  They are each super pigmented and long-wearing.  They may seem like a terrifyingly orange shade in the picture above, but I promise you that they are actually very wearable when applied on the eyelid.  They really bring out blue eyes, but also look amazing on any color!  I can’t get over this shade for fall accompanied by some gorgeous winged eyeliner!  I’ve already created a look with Amber Lights if you’d like to see it in action. 😉

Overall, I think that both of these eyeshadows are great!  MAC’s is a tad higher in quality, but the difference between the two shades is not that noticeable -especially when on the eyes.  I actually prefer that Bella Copper has more sparkle to it than Amber Lights since I love shimmery shades.  If you want to save some money on MAC eyeshadows, I recommend this dupe from Milani!  I am really impressed with the formula and I think you will be too!  There is hardly any difference between these two products and if you go for the cheaper version, you can save $10.50!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and that it has been helpful to you!  Are there any products you have discovered dupes for?  Are there any products that you’d like to see dupe’d?  Thanks so much for reading!

The Comparison: Duochrome Eyeshadows | MAC, Makeup Geek, and Urban Decay

Hey there, beauties!

Recently, I have been seeing eyeshadows all over the place that somehow have the magical power of being two shades at once.  THIS IS THE FUTURE, PEOPLE.  One shade (or should I say combination of shades) in particular caught my eye: warm brown mixed with teal shimmer.  I was so intrigued by this wondrous mix of colors that I quickly gathered myself a little collection.

I did not understand how a combination of such opposites could exist and somehow look flattering on my eyelids.  I had to test it out, and test it, I did.  I now have a plethora of eyeshadows in my collection with varying shades of rusty brown hues and teal sparkles.  I shall now do what obviously has to be done and tell you about my discoveries.IMG_8172

Top: Urban Decay ‘Lounge’ Middle: MAC Blue Brown Bottom: Makeup Geek Havoc

MAC’s Blue Brown Pigment is something that I’ve heard quite a bit about.  I have never tried any of their pigments before, so I was extremely excited to bring this baby home.  It is super pigmented (as pigments tend to be 😉 and has a gorgeous shimmer to it.  At some angles, it is more of a rusty, brick red and, at others, a blue/purple sparkle.  I can’t get over how amazing it is.  The price for the full-sized bottle is $22, but for the smaller size that I picked up is just $10.  There is a ton of product in this little container, so it will last me forever!  Just a heads up: I suggest that if you are using this (or any) pigment, apply your eye makeup before doing the rest of your face so that you don’t have a ton of fallout getting all up in your foundation’s business.

IMG_8207        IMG_8172IMG_8181

Makeup Geek’s Duo Chrome Eyeshadow in Havoc is a similar color to MAC’s pigment, but is more on the warm side.  I can definitely see some more brick red/brown coming through with this one. It can be built up to have a teal shimmer, but is farther on the brown side of things than both of the other shadows here. For just $6, this product is such a steal!  It lasts all day and looks so stunning and shimmery!  Depending on how much of the product you apply, the color will look completely different, varying from a warm brown to sparkling teal.

IMG_8220 IMG_8165

Urban Decay’s eyeshadows always impress me with their high quality and this one is no exception.  You get what you pay for since they are on the pricier side of things, coming in at $19.  The shade ‘Lounge’ is extremely pigmented and bright.  It has more of a teal hue than both of the other eyeshadows, with a slight warm brown undertone.  It has a gorgeous shimmer that reminds me of mermaids.  I am in love with it.

IMG_8232 IMG_8169

Overall, I love each of these eyeshadows for different reasons and think that they all are amazing.  Urban Decay’s Lounge is a bit more teal than the others, MAC’s Brown Blue is more on the blue/purple side of things, and Makeup Geek is the warmest of them all, with the brick red/brown undertone being pretty visible.  Which is your favorite?

IMG_8149

Thank you so much for reading!  Have you tried any duo chrome eyeshadows?  What do you think of them? These shades might be a little much for everyday wear, but they are super fun to own and play around with on special occasions!

Hanna

Fall Favorites Collab with Valentina: The Eyeshadow Edition

Hey there, my beautiful people!

Fall… my favorite time of year.  The time where I get to put on beautiful autumn eyeshadows while dancing through the leaves with a pumpkin spice latte in hand.  I may not actually be providing you with a delicious PSL today, but I am however going to be showing the eyeshadows that I just can’t get enough of during this season of pumpkins and coziness.

This post is a collaboration with the beautiful Valentina Sofía (does she not have the prettiest name ever?), who will be sharing her top lipsticks for the season!  Her blog is amazing and you’ll definitely want to check it out!   Since our collab will inform you about the best products for eyes and lips, you’ll be set for fall! 😉 I hope that you enjoy!
My favorite fall eyeshadows My favorite fall eyeshadows

  1.  Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Little Sinner – I am absolutely in love with these eyeshadows for fall.  First off, they are SO pigmented and high quality.  The colors are gorgeous.  Just one swipe of these eyeshadows on your lids and BAM…  They’ll be covered in gloriously pigmented fall spirit.  Who doesn’t want that?  While this palette is only available on Amazon and Ebay now, extremely close matches to these shades are available in Kat Von D’s Metal Crush Collection.

  2.  Nars Soft Touch Eyeshadow Pencil in Corcovado – I love this eyeshadow pencil since it works perfectly as a base.  It also gives me a really nice glow on it’s own, with just a slight bit of color.  It’s perfect for those days where I just want a little sum’n sum’n on my eyes.  It’s a very natural gold shade with a little shimmer to it.Mars Gold Eyeshadow StickNARS Eyeshadow stick SwatchIMG_7774
  3. Benefit Cosmetic’s Creaseless Cream Shadow in My Two Cents – Again, as I just mentioned, I love eyeshadows that also function as bases.  They make life so much easier (at least the eyelid-priming-portion of it, anyway).  This copper shade screams fall.  It never creases on me even though it is a cream.  It’s super pigmented and also has some shimmer to it.  I use this on it’s own or underneath other shadows to give them a warm, copper glow.  It’s a really great base for MAC’s Amber Lights since it enhances the copper tone even more.Benefit My Two Cents SwatchBenefit My Two Cents Cream EyeshadowbareMinerals My Two Cents
  4. bareMinerals Eyeshadow in True Gold – This eyeshadow is SO sparkly.  If blinding everyone around you with the beauty of your disco ball eyelids is not your thing, this eyeshadow won’t be for you… but if it is, you definitely need this in your life.  The warm gold shade is perfect for fall.  It looks stunning on every skin tone and I highly recommend it!  Everyone needs at least one shimmery gold shadow in their stash.  It is a staple in my beauty collection -especially during this time of year!bareMinerals true gold eyeshadow bareMinerals true gold eyeshadow
  5. bareMinerals Eyeshadow in Bare Skin – Sometimes, in this season of cozy sweaters, you just need a nice purple shade.  BareMinerals’ eyeshadow in Bare Skin is just that -it’s sparkly, it’s purple, it’s beautiful.  The color is not overpowering; It has just that slight tint of color to it that really makes your eyes pop, but is still very wearable for everyday use.  It has a beautiful shimmer to it as well.bareMinerals bare skin eyeshadow bareMinerals bare skin eyeshadow

Even though the bareMinerals eyeshadows do have some serious shimmer to them, they are not filled with those annoying chunks of glitter that fall all over your face as many sparkly eyeshadows do. There is nothing more annoying than glitter fallout! These stay in place, are extremely pigmented, and very long-wearing.

Beauty When You’re Tired

Hi there, fellow people of the internet!

The school year is officially back into the full swing of things… we all know what that means; Many, many exhausted days of sleep deprivation and eye bags.  Even though we may feel like zombies on the inside, the 21st century has provided us with the perfect tools to mask our dull, tired faces, tricking our fellow humans into thinking we always get our full 8 hours of sleep, because we have our lives together.

When I don’t get enough sleep, my face definitely shows it.  I get the typical red eyes, dark circles, and lifeless skin.  Since I am often feeling very zombie-like, I put these products to use almost everyday to brighten up my appearance.  I hope that they will be helpful to you as well!

IMG_7490

  1. Urban Decay Vitamin Infused Complexion Prep Spray – This spray is perfect when my skin needs a boost!  It feel so refreshing to apply in the morning and also helps to reduce any redness or irritation from any acne I may have.  I apply this before my moisturizer on those days where my skin needs a little extra help.
    IMG_7442
  2. Estee Lauder DayWear Lotion –  When I’m feeling really tired, my skin needs a nice lotion to bring some life back into it.  This cream is perfect for that job!  It smells like cucumber perfection and leaves my skin feeling very refreshed.  I highly recommend it!  IMG_7470
  3. Pixi Nude Combo Eye Pencil – On those days where I am running on 2 hours of sleep and 2 gallons of coffee, my eyes always show it.  To counteract the redness, I use my Pixi eyeliner along my waterline.  I typically use the matte side since it is so pigmented and brightens up my eyes like magic.  I also often use the shimmery side on my inner corners.IMG_7451
  4. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop – This highlighter is one of my all-time favorites.  It is the perfect peachy shade that goes well with every skin tone.  When my skin is dull, putting a highlighter on the high points of my face (my cheek bones, tip of my nose, and cupid’s bow) makes all the difference in brightening up my face.  I look 10 x more awake after applying highlighter.  I also use it often as an eyeshadow -it’s the perfect inner corner and brow bone highlight shade!IMG_7456 IMG_7438 (1)
  5. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – Y’all know how much I love this concealer.  I can’t go a day without using it!  It gives amazing coverage and never creases.  It dramatically brightens up my dark circles and makes me look alive again!  This product is definitely a must have and very worth the $29.

All ‘Bout Them Neutrals | Clinique Wear Everywhere 8-Pan Palette

Hello, beauties!

I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many neutral eyeshadows.  They’re beautiful, go with every look, and never go out of style. Clinique’s Wear Everywhere Neutrals All About Shadow 8-Pan Palette is my new baby (whew, that name is a mouthful).  During the fall, I gravitate towards warmer neutrals and that is exactly what this palette includes, along with some cool-toned browns and a range of highlight shades… basically, it has every neutral you’ll ever need and includes “soft” and “super shimmer” shades along with a matte shadow as well!  This palette is all kinds of gorgeous and I can’t wait to show you!

From left to right:

  • NEW Alabaster (Soft Shimmer)
  • Daybreak (Super Shimmer)
  • NEW Moroccan Brown (Soft Shimmer)
  • At Dusk (Super Shimmer)
  • NEW Sahara Sun (Super Shimmer)
  • NEW Jute Brown (Soft Shimmer)
  • Seashell (Soft Shimmer)
  • NEW Chocolate Bark (Matte)

Price: $36

Packaging:  The packaging of this palette is my favorite of any palette I’ve ever owned!  It is incredibly compact and the perfect size for travel.  The mirror inside is large, which is a huge plus.  I cannot get over how sleek and gorgeous it is!

clinique neutral eyeshadow palette

Formula: These eyeshadows are extremely pigmented.  They are super creamy and blend really well.  Every single color in this palette is stunning.  I love the range of “soft” to “super” shimmers as I love that kind of eyeshadow.  The soft shimmers are very similar to a satin finish with more of a glow, which I love.  Even though this palette includes very shimmery shades, they do not have chunks of glitter in them, which I always despise.  There is no sparkly fallout when using them.  (Yay!)  I am very glad that Clinique included at least one matte shade, since it is always nice to have a darker matte shadow to use as liner or to deepen up the crease.

clinique neutral eyeshadow swatches

Recommendation:  I recommend this palette to absolutely everyone.  If you don’t have any eyeshadow palettes, I think this one is the way to go since you will get a little bit of everything!  Everyone can use a few more neutrals in their life, so I recommend this to all you makeup junkies out there -you’ll get tons of use out of it, you can travel with it, and it is super high quality.  I honestly believe I could live off of this palette and this palette alone.  I am an eyeshadow junkie, so that is saying something! 😉

Thank you so much for reading!  I hope that you enjoyed this post!  Do you have any neutral eyeshadow palettes?

A Collaboration with Beauty Bunny! | My Top 5 Fall Makeup Products

Hello, lovelies!

Today, I am collaborating with Savannah from Beauty Bunny to show you our top 5 fall makeup products!  Savannah’s blog is amazing, so you definitely need to check it out and see all of her fall favorites as well!  I am super excited to show you the makeup I’ve been loving for my favorite time of year, so let’s get right to it!

Fall Makeup

  1.  ModelCo Cosmetics Shadow Sticks in the shades Costa Rica, St. Barts, Portofino, and Purple Haze.  I am counting these as one favorite instead of four since they came in a kit together in my Love Me Beauty bag.  These eyeshadows are SO pigmented, easy to use, and blend super smoothly.  They don’t crease like most cream shadows tend to over the day.  I don’t even need primer under these!  They dry/set on your eyelids after a few minutes and won’t ever budge.  I’m pretty sure these things are waterproof, because the swatches were extremely difficult to wash off of my hand! ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow   ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow   ModelCo Cosmetics Eyeshadow
  2. Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Solow

Fall is all about those matte lipsticks, so I have been enjoying Colourpops Ultra Matte Lip in Solow.  It’s a natural shade that goes with any makeup look!  It’s extremely easy to apply and I’m in love with it.  I’ve done a post further in depth on these liquid lipsticks since I was so intrigues by all the buzz about Colourpop and had to give them a go myself! colourpop liquid lipstickcolourpop liquid lipstick

3.  Clinique Blush in Sunset Glow

This blush is perfect for any season and looks great with any makeup look.  I love the slight shimmer it has to it.  It is a beautiful mauve color that actually has a bit of a coral tint to it in person.  It’s a difficult shade for me to describe, but I think it’s gorgeous and will definitely be wearing it a lot this fall (and all year round;).

4.  M.A.C. Eyeshadow in Amber Lights

To me, fall means warm, shimmery eyeshadow.  This is just that!  I love this shade in any season, but during the fall I really go ham on it and wear it almost every day.  It may look intimidating, but upon application, I think it seems a little more on the bronze side than an overpowering orange color.  I highly recommend it and think it’s well worth the investment!  I’ve even done a post on my go-to fall eyeshadow look primarily using this shadow, because I am in love with it!

5.  Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliner in Bourbon

Normally, I am not a huge fan of bold eyeliner for my eyes, so I like to go for more natural looking colors such as brown.  I am in love with the formula of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-on Eyeliners, since they are super creamy and easy to apply, but also set in place after a few minuets and never smudge on me.  This eyeliner is in the shade Bourbon, which has a slight gold shimmer to it.  The formula of this eyeliner is so creamy that I even like to use it as eyeshadow and blend it al over my eyelid.  I wear this pretty much every day that I put on makeup during the fall!

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Highlighter Review and Swatches <3

Hello, beautiful people 🙂

I’m sure you’ve probably heard all the buzz about this new highlighter that Becca Cosmetics created with Jaclyn Hill… and if you haven’t… well, now you have!  I had to order it since I love Jaclyn and have always wanted to try out Becca’s products…  it was the perfect opportunity and I couldn’t pass it up!  It arrived in the mail today and I was so excited that I had to post about it right away.

It comes in a pretty, rose-gold colored box that has little water droplets on the packaging.  I see what you did there, Becca, putting droplets on the champagne pop packaging.  You clever little genius.

IMG_2587IMG_2585

Upon opening this beautiful little box, I discovered this UFO-shaped compact.  It’s really sleek and feels nice to hold; it’s very sturdy and beautiful.

IMG_2551IMG_2552

Now for the best part… the product itself!  A choir of shimmering angels sang when I opened it up.  It is a soft white gold with pink and peach undertones.  It’s shimmery, but doesn’t leave you looking like a disco ball.  It is SO. PIGMENTED.  I could not believe how beautiful and creamy the formula was when I swatched it on the back of my hand.  It is so high quality and gorgeous.  I love the way it looks on my skin and I feel like it will look good no matter if I am tan or pale.

IMG_2535 IMG_2581 IMG_2553 IMG_2546

I recommend this beautiful product to anyone who loves makeup and wants a high quality highlight.  Of course, it’s pricey, but it’s SO BEAUTIFUL! It will last forever since a little goes a long way.  It can give a nice, soft, everyday glow, or can be built up to have more of a “strobing” effect.

I used this product today and it looked like I was glowing from within.  Everyone is going crazy over glowing skin this summer and I have definitely jumped aboard the glow train after using this beautiful highlight!  I love the peach-y shade and think that it will look beautiful all year round and is so universal.

You can order this product from Sephora for $38.  They ship to Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Canada, and the UK.  This product has been available in-store since the 16th of July and I’m guessing it will sell out pretty quick, so you better get your paws on it soon!  You won’t regret it!

I hope that this review was helpful to you!  Thanks for reading!

My Beauty Wishlist | What I Would Buy with One Million Dollars

Hello, everyone!

If I had one million dollars, this post would have a very different title- “Huge Haul!”.  Unfortunately, that is not the case.  Even though I can’t afford tons of high-end, amazing beauty products, I think it’s fun to surf the internet and find all of the lovely little  things I would purchase if I woke up a millionaire.  And even a few affordable products that I can actually afford now! 🙂

Everyone is buying Becca x Jaclyn Hill’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop.  This is so beautiful I cannot contain my excitement to own it myself!  This is one product I don’t mind spending so much on.  I mean, it’s beautiful!

Chanel’s Bronzing Makeup Base has been raved about by so many amazing beauty gurus who I love watching on youtube.  I love any kind of product that will make me look like a bronze goddess and want to try this beautiful product SO bad… if only it’s price tag wasn’t quite so large.

I would DIE to try Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation.  I’ve heard the most amazing things and just saying the names makes me feel as fancy as the queen of England.

The Body Shop’s Shea Body Butter smells like HEAVEN.  I ran out of this a while back and have been going through withdrawals.

L’occitane’s Pivione Sublime Skin Perfecting Mist is absolutely AMAZING and since I’ve run out, I have been missing it.  A lot.

Bumble and Bumble’s Surf Spray is the only beach spray that has ever worked in my hair without turning it to straw, but I ran out of the sample size a very long time ago and have missed it ever since!

I would love to try out Soap and Glory’s Sugar Crush Body Scrub! It sounds like it smells delicious!

My Favorite Nude Lip Products | Your Lips But Better

Hello, people of the internet!

I am so excited to share with you my top nude lip products!  I could not live without these babies in my life.  I don’t ever like much color on my lips, so I really love nice and neutral tones.  I am more of a lipgloss kind of a girl and have chosen mostly glosses and chubby sticks for my little bundle of lip products since they are more natural, but I did still include one amazing, fantastic, PERFECT lipstick to round it all out. 🙂  I hope you enjoy seeing all my favorite nude products I use on my lips almost every day!

IMG_0983 IMG_0985 IMG_0884

Let’s start with my favorite, because it deserves the most attention… Buxom’s Dolly Lipgloss. OH. MY. GOODNESS.  I can’t describe to you how happy this lipgloss makes me.  The color is so PERFECT.  It may not look nude, but this color is very natural when worn and just gives a light wash of color and glossiness.  It has a slight shimmer to it and is pretty sheer.  I think this would work well on many skin tones; it works on me when I’m pale and when I’m tan. It is a very natural color that just gives my lips a little more pop without really looking like I have much of anything on.  It gives the appearance that my lips are just naturally glistening and flushed and perfect. You can see why I love it.

IMG_0936 IMG_0942  IMG_0945

Onto my second favorite, NYX’s Butter Gloss in the shade Tiramisu.  This shade is also very universal and works on my skin no matter what shade I am at the moment.  It doesn’t have shimmer, just a nice glossy finish and a “your lips, but better” color.

IMG_0895 IMG_0900 IMG_0902IMG_0906 (1) IMG_0907 (1)

A similar, but high-end version of this gloss is Laura Mercier’s Bare Pink Gloss.  This shade is a little lighter, but I find the formula and finish of the gloss to be pretty similar to NYX’s butter gloss.  It’s a sheer wash of pink and even though it’s a lighter tone, it doesn’t wash me out when my skin is tan, because the color isn’t too opaque.

Next, I have a newer addition to my little bundle of nude lippies, which is my Mac Satin Lipstick in Faux.  I can’t describe to you how much I love the contents of this wondrous little MAC tube.  The color is PERFECT for a super natural, yet perfect-looking nude lip that won’t wash you out or make your teeth look yellow. (I have that trouble sometimes with nude colors) The finish is satin -as the tube says- and stays on ALL. DAY.  It applies really easily and doesn’t look overpowering for everyday wear.  In one word: perfection.  If you are looking for a MAC lipstick to invest in but don’t want to spend that much money on a shade that you won’t actually wear very often or are just overwhelmed by the amount of different shades they carry, I really, really highly suggest this shade.  It’s also a great gift since the color is so universal.

This next lip product has a little more color, but in my opinion, still falls under the nude category since the coverage is very sheer and light.  This little beauty is a type of chubby stick/gloss; Tarte’s Lipsurgence Natural Lip Luster in the shade Glisten.  First of all, the packaging is super cute, as it always is with Tarte.  This lippie is a gorgeous, peachy, nude color.  It’s coverage is very light and absolutely perfect for everyday wear, ESPECIALLY in the Summer.  It has a slight shimmer to it and adds a really natural pop of color to your lips without anyone really noticing that anything’s there- your lips just look like they naturally glow from within. *chorus of angels sings in the background*

A super affordable and beautiful nude chubby stick-type of lip product that I have been loving for a few months is Bonne Bell’s Lip Tint in Brown Voyage.  It is my favorite out of this entire group for when I just want a chapstick-like product that is going to enhance my lips slightly, but I don’t really have to think about when applying.  This is perfect for when I am running out the door or just to throw in my purse.  The shade is pretty much the exact same as my natural lips and just enhances the color and gives the perfect amount of shine and hydration.  I really recommend having this product in your purse or in your car just to throw on! 🙂

I didn’t buy into all of the NYX Butter Gloss hype for a very long time, but obviously, I couldn’t resist since I not only included one, but TWO Butter Glosses in this post! hehe.. This gloss is a bit of a brighter, more blue-toned pink that is great for Summer, especially on lighter skin tones.  This shade is called Éclair. I love how they named these glosses after desserts, it makes me drool over them even more!

Lastly, for when I am a little paler and want a nice nude gloss, I use NARS’ Turkish Delight.  It works well with a tan, too, if I just use a very light swish of it and don’t go too crazy or else, it can wash me out.  It gives the perfect shine to my lips and doesn’t have any shimmer.  I also love putting this overtop of lipsticks that I think are too dark for everyday wear on their own to just lighten them up a bit and give some shine.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing all of my favorite nude lip products!  Until next time!
