Hi there!
We all have those days where we just want to lay around and do nothing. You know, the days where your hair is a mess and you can’t be bothered to wipe of the smudged eyeliner that is actually yesterday’s mascara.
Now that the school year is back in full swing, exhaustion, my dear old friend, has once again greeted me and makes mornings a bit difficult. This can be a problem when I want to look like I actually almost tried to make myself look presentable, but don’t have the energy to stand in front of a mirror slathering 1000 makeup products on my face when I could be in bed sleeping.
When these lazy days happen to roll around (which they often do), I have a few products to help me out in the beauty department that take almost no effort on my part. If you have a similar issue with beauty taking too much time and energy, these products will be your best friends. Think of them as your support group. They’re here for you though the worst of times; They always have your back.
When I’m having a lazy day, I do not have the energy to apply and blend out liquid foundation. Ain’t nobody got time for that! To hurry up the makeup process and give my skin a bit of natural (but build-able) coverage, I reach for my bareMineral’s Powder. I can’t recommend this stuff enough! They even have matte and more luminous versions so you’ll definitely be able to find one that will work with your skin type.
2. Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze
For some reason, I always feel naked without eyeshadow on. This is a bit of a problem when I don’t feel like taking the time to do it, so Maybelline’s Color Tattoo in the shade On and On Bronze always comes in handy. It is SUPER pigmented and the perfect neutral brown shade. A swipe of this over the lid and I’m good to go!
There’s no way I’m taking the time to shower and do my hair on lazy days. No way. I use dry shampoo more than I’d like to admit, but sometimes, a girl just can’t be bothered! This is my favorite dry shampoo I’ve ever tried. It is a light brown color, so it won’t make you look like you have grey hair if you forget to rub it in all the way! It gives tons of volume and takes away all the greasies.
4. Maybelline Brow Drama in Blonde
Brows are arguably one of the most important features on your face. They can completely change the way you look! I love having my brows “on fleek”, but sometimes, I don’t have the time (or willpower) that it takes to fill them in. On these days, a good coat of this brow gel locks them in place and gives them a little volume and color.
Even on lazy days, I usually apply a bit of concealer to hide the fact that I didn’t get any sleep because I am actually turning into a vampire. After applying concealer, I usually look even a bit more pale and lifeless (as I said, I’m turning into a vampire), so I have to add in a little color with this beautiful product. Benefit’s Lollitint is such a perfect berry shade. I think this would look stunning on any skin tone! I dab this onto my cheeks and lips for quick and natural color.
Lastly, if you don’t have the energy to wear makeup on your lazy days… don’t! LET YO FACE BE FREE, WOMAN! You’re beautiful with or without it!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope that you’ve found some new products to make your days a little easier. What are some of your lazy day essentials?
I wish you all the best of brows even on the laziest of days.
XO,
Hanna
I’d love to connect with you on social media! :
I tend to opt for a BB cream on lazy days, or skip that step all together and just do concealer, brows, cream eyeshadow (one that is very similar to On and On Bronze) and mascara with a MLBB lip shade. I adore that Bare Minerals foundation and have been dying to try Lollitint for AGES now!

I love Smashbox’s BB cream so much! Which bb creams do you like? I’ve been looking for a good one since my Smashbox bb cream is the wrong shade for me right now. Isn’t it such an amazing foundation? I love Lollitint so much! You’ll love it if you try it out! Such a pretty shade! xoxo

I have enjoyed the L’Oreal Nude Magic BB cream, and the Maybelline one (although it is slightly sticky but I can overlook it for the most part). This summer I picked up one from Etude House over in Hong Kong and I can’t wait to test it out! I hear Asia is far ahead with BB cream formulas.

Hanna, your writing is so fun and entertaining to me! Anyway… that’s not the point of what I came here to say. This is such a good guide to a lazy makeup wearing day. I usually tend to do all or nothing but on the very rare days that I do “no makeup” makeup, all I grab is some concealer, maybe a BB cream and a nice MLBB lipstick and call it a day!
You know, I’d be super interested to see more stash posts from you. In my mind I see you having tons and tons of makeup and I’d love to see more of your collection!! xx
