My Top 5 Makeup Brushes

Hello, beauties!

Makeup brushes are one of my favorite things.  You can never have too many!  They are fun to collect and too beautiful not to buy!   Having the correct tools when applying makeup makes life way easier.  Even when using cheaper makeup, if you have the right brushes, your makeup will look much more professional.  Today I’ll be sharing with you a few brushes that I absolutely could not live without!  I hope you enjoy!

  1. Zoeva 102 Silk Finish Brush

This foundation brush is amazing at applying liquid foundation and even buffing out concealer.  It blends everything so smoothly and makes makeup look air-brushed.  I absolutely love the handle since I am obsessed with rose gold.  The bristles are dense and super soft.  I recommend this brush to anyone looking for something to apply their foundation flawlessly!

2.  Zoeva 142 Concealer Brush

Zoeva’s concealer brush is basically a little baby version of the 102, which I just mentioned.  I never realized how helpful a brush like this would be until I owned one and realized what living truly was.  How did I survive without this?  It is amazing at covering acne, scarring, or dark circles.  It perfectly packs the product onto the problem area and buffs it out very naturally.  It makes concealing acne much easier and perfectly applies concealer.

3. Sephora 61 Allover Powder Brush

This brush may be the best out of all of my favorites.   Sephora’s #61 is absolutely amazing at applying powder products.  It is so large that it makes the job of powdering extremely quick.  It picks up just enough product so that I never look cake-y.  The bristles are SUPER dense and feel softer than a baby’s butt.  I’m not joking -it’s heavenly and you need it in your life.

4. Crown C491 Crease and Shadow Brush

This brush makes applying eyeshadow much quicker and easier.  It has everything I need in one!  I use the flat part of the crease brush to pack shadow on my lid, its fluffy edge to blend in the crease, and the pointier side to apply a dark shade to my lash line for definition.  The bristles are very soft and never hurt my eyelids as some rougher brushes can.  This brush is perfect for traveling since I don’t have to pack any others.

5. Zoeva 317 Wing Liner Brush

Winged liner is possibly the most difficult thing to apply in the history of ever.  If you do not have the correct brush when using gel liner, it’s practically impossible to achieve a sharp wing, nonetheless somehow manage to make both eyes even!  This brush makes lining my eyes 100000x easier and I cannot live without it!   It creates a wing so sharp it could kill a man.  I have so much control with this brush that it makes winged liner a piece of cake.  I never thought I would say that!  If you have trouble lining your eyes with gel liner, I really recommend this brush since it will make your life much easier!

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my favorite makeup brushes and that these recommendations have been helpful to you!  I could not live without these amazing tools!  What are some of your favorites that I need to check out?

XO,

Hanna
