Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick | Serenity Review + Swatches

Hello, beauties!

I am so excited that MannyMua has teamed up with Gerard Cosmetics to make a Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick called Serenity.   Since I’ve been hearing that it is #NationalLipstickDay, I decided that it was the perfect opportunity to show you all some swatches and tell you how I feel about this product!

I purchased this liquid lipstick from Gerard Cosmetics for $13.  I used Manny’s discount code, MannyMua, which gave me $7 off!  Also, they have free shipping!

First off the packaging is SO BEAUTIFUL. Let’s all just take a moment to appreciate it’s heavenliness.

I love how the glass bottle is matte and looks so professional and classy.  The box it came in was adorable and filled with fun, little red confetti (or whatever those amazing, crinkly papers are called).

It has a doe-foot applicator that makes it easy to have a sharp and accurate application.  It’s a beautiful, nude, rose-y color that is very pigmented .  It dries quickly to a matte finish and will not budge.  I’m not kidding.  It won’t move.  You can eat, drink, sing opera, etc -It doesn’t matter. This stuff won’t come off until you use makeup remover.

Manny’s description of Serenity: “Serenity is a beautiful warm pink, with hints of brown, a very comfortable non-drying matte formula that feels as if there is nothing on your lips!”

I think this liquid lipstick is PERFECT for people who love very pigmented lip products that are extremely long-lasting.  It is great for a day when you really need your makeup to stay put even after eating.  .

I am not huge on matte lipsticks since I have dry lips and they tend to settle in the lines, but this one impresses me!  As long as your lips are exfoliated and moisturized before applying, you shouldn’t have trouble with creasing.

I like this shade because I am a little intimidated when it comes to wearing bright lip colors, especially when the product is so opaque.  This color is not in your face and it looks very natural.

I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a pigmented, long-wearing, neutral lipstick!  I haven’t tried any other shades from Gerard Cosmetics, but with how amazing this formula is, I can’t wait to test out a red liquid lipstick since I know it won’t get on my teeth!

I hope that this review was helpful to you!  Thanks so much for reading!  Have you tried any liquid lipsticks?

XO,

Hanna

That color is gorgeous! I am not much of a fan of matte lips either because I have dry lips as well. I would definitely love to try this though! It looks great on you! I just have tried a couple of things from Gerard Cosmetics. I have their lip gloss in Coral Craze an lipstick in Buttercup. 🙂 xo

Oh Buttercup is such a great shade! I haven’t even gotten a chance to post on it or anything. Just way to many things to post on I guess lol. I want to get Berry Smoothie too! I think that’s what it’s called lol. I always wait for them to have some deal going on though. ❤
